Exhibition Of Student Works

The Exhibition of Student Works is a city wide project that was introduced to Memphis City Schools by our superintendent Dr. Kriner Cash. It was created to display students creativity and to display certain skills most students wouldn't be able to showcase in the confides of the class room.

The Mission Of The Exhibition:
Memphis City Schools is committed to creating a learning environment in which all students will develop and showcase their academic and creative talents.

With support from the community, parents, and teachers, students will plan, research, create, and display their products in an Exhibition of Student Work.

Creation of student projects for the exhibitions allows students to apply their knowledge/talents beyond the classroom and increase their achievement.

Vision

Memphis City Schools is committed to creating a learning environment in which all students have the opportunity to develop their academic and creative talents. To achieve this vision, each student will develop two projects to be showcased in a Fall and Spring Exhibition of Student Work at all Memphis City schools.

Although the Exibition is resticted, students are still expected to be creative. For instance: Students can act, sing, dance, draw, or anything else creative. In fact this very blog was created as our exhibition project.
